Описание

Planyway is a planning and tracking plugin for Trello and Jira . We connect the essential aspects of project management resource planning, roadmapping, and time tracking to give users a true reality check on projects.

What you ll do:

Atlassian Community (40%)

  • Write genuinely helpful Community posts/threads and participate in discussions (answers, follow-ups, clarifications).

  • Share practical workflows and solutions related to Trello/Jira resource management, roadmapping, etc.

  • When Planyway is relevant, mention it responsibly and clearly disclose affiliation.

  • Collaborate with the team to identify topics worth covering based on real Community questions and customer pain points.

Planyway.com (SEO content) (40%)

  • Write and edit blog posts and product-education content in English for a primarily US audience.

  • Turn real insights into content: customer interviews, expert interviews, experiments, and observed workflows.

  • Refresh and improve existing content (structure, clarity, examples, screenshots, internal linking, and usefulness).

  • Work with teammates who can support technical SEO and provide SEO briefs but you ll be expected to contribute your own research, angles, and insights.

Misc (20%)

  • Help build a newsletter that s actually useful (starting small; likely growing over time).

  • Improve Marketplace-facing content (listing copy, positioning, screenshots, FAQs, use cases).

  • Repurpose strong pieces into smaller formats when it s worth it.

  • Send changelog to users to keep them updated on product changes.

Expected output (guideline, not a rigid quota):

Output will vary depending on depth and complexity. A realistic target range:

Atlassian Community

  • 1 substantial post/thread per week or 2 lighter posts per weekS

  • plus consistent helpful replies (e.g., 10 20 per week)

Planyway.com

  • 2 SEO articles per month or 1 deep flagship piece per month + 1 2 refreshes/updates

Newsletter

  • Typically monthly at first (more frequent later if it s working)

Marketplace

  • Small iteration(s) monthly as needed

We care more about usefulness + originality + consistency than sheer volume.

The quality bar (very important)

We re not looking for generic, templated, AI-ish content. We want work that feels like it was created by someone who actually understands the product and the user s reality.

We admire content from teams like:

  • Basecamp/37signals (clear writing, strong point of view, practical usefulness)

  • PostHog (depth, specificity, original thinking, real examples)

  • Reforge (experience-based insights and frameworks)

What good looks like for us:

  • Real workflows, screenshots, examples, edge cases, tradeoffs

  • Interview-backed insights (customers & power users interview recordings)

  • A clear editorial voice and strong structure

  • Content that teaches something new, not just repeats what s already on the internet

Required Education and Skills:

  • English proficiency: C1+ (we publish in English for native readers).

  • 3+ years in B2B SaaS content marketing with a strong focus on user acquisition (not only brand/PR).

  • Proven ability to conduct customer/expert interviews and turn insights into compelling content.

  • Strong writing and editing skills across formats (long-form articles, community posts, newsletters).

  • You can work independently, manage your time, and ship consistently.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with project management or previous roles related to project management.

  • Experience with Jira and/or Trello (Planyway lives in this ecosystem).

  • Experience participating in the Atlassian Community and understanding the norms.

  • Ability to do basic SEO-driven research (intent awareness, query patterns, content structure).

  • Comfort with internal linking and content clustering (helpful as the library grows).

  • Basic maker skills: simple visuals, lightweight screenshots/screencasts/demos.
