Come and work within a leading global IT company as we address interesting and exciting issues such as fast-evolving business models, new products, and changes in the international tax system. Priority of the role will be in working with intercompany contracts which support the tax position of Kaspersky companies. This includes: managing, preparation and drafting of English/Russian language legal agreements according to the Operating Model of Kaspersky companies; automate the intercompany contracts preparation where possible to reduce manual work; proposing new wording for contract clauses as needed to mitigate possible Tax risks; update the intercompany contract list tracker, manage the intercompany contracts guidance and improvements to internal contract templates; coordinate intercompany contracts execution, and deliver signed intercompany contracts to respective international departments. Other working areas: involvement in analysis of specific questions related to Corporate Income Taxes, Withholding Taxes, Indirect Taxes (Value Added/Goods & Services/Sales Taxes), Stamp Duties/Transfer Taxes, Payroll Taxes. You will be expected to research and analyse the impact of such taxes even if they are not within your core expertise. The main responsibilities are: Legal entity tax profile Fully support and manage the intercompany contracts process; Review and test tax reporting, annual consolidated tax reporting, some periodic tax instalment payment estimates; Review third party expenditure/revenue contracts; Contribute in various project in respect of preparation of policies / procedures so as to support compliance with local legal obligations and mitigation of tax risks, in particular cross-border risks in relation to intercompany fees or remote workers; Internal tax advice Prepare defence files to justify the technical position taken in tax returns, or in relation to whether or how withholding taxes and/or VAT apply to particular transactions. Provide recommendations to Senior Tax manager for operational guidance relating to international tax risks and opportunities to business, legal and finance teams. Work with Tax Subject Matter Experts and/or Regional Tax Business Partners to prepare analysis and recommendations affecting one or more companies on tax, finance and business issues as required. Monitor key new tax legislation, case law and tax policy developments. Research legislation, tax authority guidance and other sources to manage the technical analysis, including advice from external firms, so as to document clear positions and deliver clear analysis and recommendations based on these. Requirements: Degree in tax, or in law or accounting including a significant taxation component 2+ years working experience in a consulting or law firm Experience in international taxes, analysis of different taxes and different countries’ systems, and reviews of corporate income tax declarations and statutory accounts Experience in automation and work with AI will be a plus Ability to use Excel and other financial tools effectively for analysis of tax outcomes Attention to detail, diligence, accuracy, a logical and reasoned approach to problem solving, with a “can-do” attitude. Strong written and spoken communication and presentation skills. English language (Advanced)
